Association of School Business Officials
The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) is a professional association that provides programs and services to promote the highest standards of school business management practices, professional growth, and the effective use of educational resources.
Founded in 1910, ASBO International has over 5,000 school business management professionals as members. With an average budget oversight of $141 million annually, ASBO International members are the finance decision makers in school districts around the world.
ASBO members are employed in K-12 school districts, community colleges, universities, and state departments of education. They manage the business side of school district operations, including the areas of budgeting, purchasing, and financial management; facility operations and maintenance; human resources; technology; transportation and security; food service; health care; and much more. asbointl.org
California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO)
For more than 80 years, the California Association of School Business Officials has acted as the critical link in three key areas of school business management - professional development, legislative advocacy and peer networking.
CASBO's more than 4,000 members are literally the voice of the school business industry and oversee all areas of school business management and operations including finance, accounting, payroll, human resources, risk management, transportation, school nutrition, maintenance and operations, information technology, purchasing, school safety and school facilities. California School Boards Association (CSBA)
The California School Boards Association is a collaborative group of virtually all of the state’s more than 1,000 school districts and county offices of education.
CSBA brings together school governing boards and their districts and county offices on behalf of California’s children. CSBA is a member-driven association that supports the governance team — school board members, superintendents and senior administrative staff — in its complex leadership role. CSBA develops, communicates and advocates the perspective of California school districts and county offices of education. csba.org
Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH)
The Coalition for Adequate School Housing (C.A.S.H.) was formed in 1978 to promote, develop, and support state and local funding for K-12 construction.
School District members represent 93 percent of the pupils in California and have the greatest need for funding of new classrooms and modernization of old schools.
C.A.S.H. Membership contains over 1,500 school districts, county offices and private sector businesses including: architects, attorneys, consultants, construction managers, financial institutions, modular building manufacturers, contractors, developers, and others that are in the school facilities industry. cashnet.org
Oregon Association of School Business Officials (OASBO)
The Oregon Association of School Business Officials (OASBO) is a professional organization affiliated with the Association of School Business Officials International. OASBO's mission is to support public education by providing resources, programs, activities and training for business officials.

Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA)
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association is a nonprofit statewide association of public school boards, pledged to the highest ideals of local lay leadership for the public schools of the commonwealth.
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association, founded in 1895, has a rich history as the first school boards association established in the United States. Pennsylvania’s 4,509 school directors become members by virtue of election to their local board -- the board joins as a whole. Membership in PSBA is by school district or other eligible local education agency such as intermediate unit, vocational school or community college. Over the past several decades, voluntary membership by local school entities has been virtually 100%. psba.org
